Restraint of trade (1): letter before claim from employer to former employee

An example letter before claim to be used as a starting point by the solicitors acting for an employer who discovers that a former employee is proposing to compete, or is competing, with it in breach of the employee's post-employment obligations. The competition involves the employee joining one of the employer's competitors and their breach may concern the use of confidential information and/or breach of other restrictive covenants.
