An overview of work carried out by the European Commission to amend the Capital Requirements Directive (2006/48/EC and 2006/49/EC) (CRD). It summarises the proposals in each of the series of major amendments to the CRD, referred to individually as CRD II (2009/111/EC), CRD III (2010/76/EU) and CRD IV, and other amendments made to the CRD since its adoption.
