Spouses from polygamous marriages recognised for succession purposes on intestacy

The High Court has confirmed that an intestate's polygamous marriages, made according to the law of his domicile, are recognised for the purposes of succession by his spouses to his real property in England and Wales, under section 46 of the Administration of Estates Act 1925.(Official Solicitor to the Senior Courts v Yemoh and others [2010] EWHC 3727 (Ch).)
