Forfeiture of lease prior to registration of landlord's title

Rother District Investments Ltd v Corke, 20 January 2004 (High Court, Chancery Division).

In this case, the High Court considered the legal effect of a purported peaceable re-entry and forfeiture of a lease by a purchaser of the reversion, prior to its registration as proprietor at the Land Registry. In the circumstances, the court concluded that the lease had been forfeited.
